There are many resources available to support actions that improve the energy efficiency of commercial, multi-unit residential, non-profit housing and industrial buildings. Owners may be eligible for rebates towards energy studies to identify cost-effective improvements (up to $20,000). Additionally, owners conducting entire building renovations may be eligible for $40-$70 per ton of GHG reduction (up to $200,000). Some measures involve fuel switching to high efficiency systems, improvements to mechanical systems and building envelopes. By improving the energy efficiency, owners will reduce long-term operation costs and negative impacts on the environment.
