Looking to purchase a vehicle with lower environmental impact? Whether you are buying a new or used vehicle, there are rebates available.
SCRAP-IT Program
Rebates are available to encourage British Columbians to replace their current vehicle with cleaner forms of transportation. Incentives up to $6,000 are available for purchasing a new and $3,000 for purchasing a used qualifying vehicle. All scrapped vehicles and their components are properly recycled.

CEVforBC Vehicle Incentive Program
The CEVforBC Vehicle Incentive Program offers point-of sale incentives for the purchase or lease of eligible vehicles of up to:
- $6,000 for hydrogen fuel cell vehicle
- $5,000 for a new battery electric vehicle
- $2,500 to $5,000 for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle
This program is available until March 31st, 2020 or while funding lasts, whichever comes first.

Speciality-Use Vehicle Incentive Program
Rebates between $2,000 and $50,000 are available for a variety of clean energy vehicles, including electric motorcycles, utility trucks, and buses.
