City to Provide 2025 Community Beautification Grants Through Partnering Agreements
The City of Campbell River Council has approved in principle three grants for area-specific beautification initiatives, public art, and public space programming.
The 2025 program will provide $10,000 in matching funds to the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association and Willow Point Business Improvement Association, and $17,566.06 to the Downtown Business Improvement Association. Improvements will include decorative lighting, murals, utility box art wrapping, flowers and flower pots, signage, litter abatement, and event programming.
The draft partnering agreements and records related to the proposed assistance are available for public inspection, by email, or by appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, at City Hall. Council will consider the proposed partnering agreements at the Regular Council meeting on July 24, 2025.
Notice is provided as required in Section 21 of the Community Charter.
