    PROPERTY AGREEMENTS NOTICE: CAMPBELL RIVER AIRPORT (YBL)

    The City of Campbell River (The City) intends to lease the following building space at the Campbell River Airport (YBL):

    • A 5-year lease that will terminate on March 31, 2029, to Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd. (BC: A0082098) for an initial rent of $400.00/m2 ($9,824.00 annually) plus GST (room 125A in the terminal building).
    • A 5-year lease that will terminate on February 28, 2029, to Pacific Coastal Airlines Limited (BC0216956), for an initial rent of $400.00/m2 ($14,800.00 annually) plus GST (rooms 115, 117, 117A, and 117B in the terminal building).

    The City also intends to enter into the following agreement at YBL:

    • A 25-year lease that will terminate on May 31, 2049, with the option to renew for 3 further terms of 25-years, to Capital City Skydiving Inc. (BC1038333), for an initial rent of $2.48/m2 ($20,559.20 annually) plus GST (Lease Area 26, 8,290 m2, Plan EPP35390).

    The City will remain the registered, fee-simple owner of all lands and buildings described above. This notice is given pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter.
