    CAMPBELL RIVER TRANSIT PASSES AVAILABLE AHEAD OF SERVICE RESUMING

    An agreement has been reached between BC Transit’s contractor — PWTransit Canada — and their unionized employees. BC Transit has advised that handyDART services will resume on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, and bookings are now being accepted, and that conventional transit service will resume on Monday, February 12, 2024.

    Transit passes can be purchased online or at local vendors, including several City of Campbell River facilities:

    • City Hall (301 St. Anns Road)
    • Campbell River Community Centre (401-11th Avenue)
    • Sportsplex (1800 South Alder Street)

    For a full list of vendors, visit bctransit.com/campbell-river/fares/where-to-buy. Semester passes for students will be available beginning on Saturday, February 10, 2024, and will be prorated to reflect the interruption to service.
