NexStream Tech Competition welcomes new sponsor

Private equity firm Salmon Capital Holdings, LTD., (SCHL) has signed on as the newest official sponsor of Campbell River’s NexStream Tech Competition, announcing earlier this week that it will contribute CAD $100,000 to support the competition.

Dana Kammersgard, SCHL’s managing director and chief investment officer, is also a founding member of the Campbell River Area Angel Group (CRAAG).

“CRAAG and Salmon Capital Holdings were both founded to advance the Campbell River area’s profile among tech companies and investors, and to encourage innovative applications of technology among the region’s various industries, with a focus on sustainable and clean technology,” Kammersgard said. “The NexStream Tech Competition aligns with those goals by inviting innovators to help solve local industry challenges in areas such as aquaculture, natural resource management, cleantech and renewable energy, healthcare and food safety.
