    CALL FOR INTEREST - Campbell River Airport Authority Directors

    The City of Campbell River is seeking three new volunteers to join the Airport Authority for a three-year term.

    The Airport Authority oversees the operations of the Campbell River Airport. As a Commission of the City of Campbell River under Bylaw 3444, the Airport Authority is responsible for setting policy, monitoring outcomes and delivering to the end results set by the Mayor and Council on behalf of the City. 

    Members of the Campbell River Airport Authority have a commitment to excellence in policy governance and the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to carry out the duties of the Commission. 

    Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience in the aviation industry, economic development, governance or governmental finance or operations. Positions are open to local and regional candidates. 

    Interested? Please submit a brief resume and covering letter setting out how you could contribute to the role of Airport Authority Member. 

    Responses must be received by 4 p.m. on November 14, 2014. Email applications to tyler.massee@campbellriver.ca.
