Doug Folkins is a recording artist and professional award-winning songwriter from Campbell River BC. Doug has some impressive songwriting achievements with over 12 million collective songwriting streams and 220+ of his songs recorded by other artists. In addition to over 100 Film and TV song placements, including NBC’s “The Voice”, some of Doug’s songs have also been performed on the Grand Ole Opry Stage and at the Blue Bird Café.
He is a regular co-writer with many Nashville hit makers and recognized Canadian artists such as Aaron Goodvin, Hailey Benedict, Don Amero, Tony Stevens, and Buck Twenty.
Doug has performed onstage at 2019 CCMA Official Songwriters Series in Calgary along with Lindsay Ell, The Reklaws and Nice Horse as well at the world-famous Listening Room in Nashville.
