Willow Point Park is also home to the Sportsplex, a large indoor sports facility.
Skate/Terrain Park
The skate/terrain park at Willow Point Park is a space for all levels of skateboarders and BMX riders. We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, gloves and pads and to always skate/ride within your abilities to avoid injuries.
During summer, the City provides daily security patrols of the skatepark and bike track.
Splash Park
The splash park is open from May to the September Labour Day weekend, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The splash park is for kids of all ages. The park is divided into three play zones; for families, teens and toddlers.
The splash park includes a fire hydrant and hose element and features Campbell River’s marine heritage; with a fishing pole (with salmon attached) and a whale body and tail. BC’s first mega soaker (a bowl full of water that fills and spills), is a killer whale.
Facilities right next to the Splash Park include four fully accessible, family-style washroom/change rooms that offer a toilet, wash basin, change tables and change area with bench and hooks.
The project was led by the Rotary Club of Campbell River.
