  • City utilities (water, sanitary, stormwater infrastructure)
  • hydrant usage

If you are doing work within the curb lines or impacting any pedestrians, you will need to provide a Traffic and/or Pedestrian Management Plan. This applies even if traffic can still flow through the work zone.

Depending on the extent of the work or impact to traffic, you may be required to undertake public notification, including a “Good Neighbour Letter” and/or radio ads.  A “Good Neighbour Letter” to residents and businesses in the area must include the date and time of the work, a general description of the work, and a phone number and contact names for any questions.
