The Accessible BC Act and Regulation requires public sector organizations to:
- establish an accessibility committee
- develop an accessibility plan
- build a tool to receive feedback on their accessibility committee and plan
The City of Campbell River is working with the Strathcona Regional District (SRD) to meet the provincial requirements.
Accessibility and Inclusion Advisory Committee
The SRD developed a Strathcona Accessibility and Inclusion Advisory Committee. The City, as a member, supported the development of this committee. The first committee meeting took place October 5, 2023. All public information related to the Committee or accessibility plan is on SRD's website. You may also provide feedback there.
