Business Engagement

Help Shape Campbell River's Economic Future

Business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs across Campbell River are invited to share their feedback and insights by participating in the City of Campbell River’s upcoming business walks and meetings during Small Business Week, October 19 to 25, 2025.

This local, business-first approach recognizes that businesses are best positioned to identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities for business success. The information collected will support long-term planning for the community, while also yielding short-term tangible results.

How to Participate

Attend the City’s drop-in town hall meetings at Tidemark Theatre (1220 Shoppers Row) on Sunday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or at the City of Campbell River Airport (YBL) terminal (2000 Jubilee Parkway) on Tuesday, October 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

  • Share your thoughts about the local business environment.
  • Find out the preliminary results of the City’s business pulse survey.
  • Experience the new online business development platform.

Join the City’s business walk on Friday, October 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. Staff and members of Council will be dropping by local businesses to get a pulse on how things are going, what support businesses need and what future plans businesses have. You can also email invest@campbellriver.ca to make an appointment for outside that time.

Other Ways to Get Involved

The town hall meetings and business walk are part of a larger business engagement program that looks to create a thriving business environment that supports existing enterprises while attracting new investment.
