MyCity

MyCity is an all-in-one online service for homeowners, residents and businesses. Through MyCity you can access information about your property taxes, business licences, utility billing and dog licences at any time.

Register for MyCity

To register for MyCity, you will need a valid email address and phone number. Once you complete the registration, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link.

After activating your account, you can connect it to your other City accounts. To do so, use the folio or account number and the access code that is provided on your tax notice, utility bill or business licence renewal notice.

Property Tax Accounts

MyCity allows you to manage your property taxes online, including:

  • signing up for eBilling
  • access your property tax notices as soon as they're issued
  • check if your Home Owner Grant has been applied
  • access your property tax documents and payment history.

You can register your property tax account with your MyCity account with the eight-digit folio number and six-digit access code on your property tax notice. If you own more than one property, register each one separately to create an account for each.

EBilling

The City offers electronic billing (eBilling) for paperless access to your property tax notices.

When you sign up for eBilling, you will receive your property taxes by email. Signing up means you will no longer receive a copy of your property tax notice by mail.

Once you have a MyCity account, register or access the property tax account. There will be a checkbox to Subscribe for eBilling. Check that box, and you will be sent a confirmation email to confirm your details and account preferences.

eBilling does not affect how you receive your property assessment from BC Assessment.
