
River Concerts - Jackson Hollow

JUNO Award and Canadian Folk Music Award nominated group Jackson Hollow has quickly emerged as one of Canada’s most recognized contemporary bluegrass acts, earning national honours, international media coverage, and touring success across Canada and the United States. The band’s recent recognition includes nominations for the JUNO Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year and two Canadian Folk Music Awards, along with a nomination for IBMA Momentum Band of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association in the United States. In 2025 the group also received major honours at the BC Country Music Association Awards, winning Group of the Year and the Gaylord Wood Traditional Artist of the Year, and earned multiple Josie Music Awards (USA) wins including Bluegrass Song of the Year. Jackson Hollow’s growing international profile has been highlighted through performances and showcases across the United States.
The band appeared at IBMA World of Bluegrass in Tennessee, performing official IBMA showcases and appearing on the IBMA Momentum Awards Show, along with a debut performance at Nashville’s legendary Station Inn and appearances at Songbirds in Chattanooga and the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival in Washington. Their music continues to reach audiences through radio airplay across Canada, the United States, and internationally, including SiriusXM, and charting on the Hooked on Bluegrass Top 50. Jackson Hollow has also been featured in international media including Bluegrass Today (USA), Americana UK, Bluegrass Australia, and Bluegrass Canada, where the band appeared on the cover of Bluegrass Canada magazine. Recent releases include the singles “Appalachia,” “Thank God for the Radio,” and “Wildflower.” Jackson Hollow is currently in the studio recording their second album for release in 2026.
