As part of Pride Week in Campbell River Vancouver-based queer non-binary singer Beau Wheeler performs in Spirit Square. Blessed with a set of pipes that would be the envy of torch and twang era KD Lang or a young Robert Plant, Wheeler sings songs that touch on love, loss and redemption, and an unflagging ability to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again. The River Concert Series presents free evening performances all summer long sponsored by the City of Campbell River and 99.7 The River.
