The City of Campbell River Fire Department is hosting its annual open house event on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the No. 1 Fire Hall, located at 675 13th Avenue.
This free, family-friendly event provides a lot of fun and exciting opportunities for the public to learn more about the Fire Department and fire safety, with some hands-on activities. Practice your aim with a fire hose, try out the hydraulic power tools and get lifted high in the sky with the tower truck. Staff are looking forward to welcoming you for a behind-the-scenes look at some of what they do to help respond to emergencies in the community. They'll also be on hand to offer tips to help you stay safe.
