Discovery Pier will be temporarily closed to the public beginning on Monday, March 10, 2025. This is a full closure while the City of Campbell River (the City) makes necessary structural repairs to improve the condition of the pier.
It's anticipated that the pier will partially reopen on Sunday, May 16, 2025, when the public will be able to access the southern portion (where the concession stand is located). The City anticipates fully reopening the pier by Sunday, May 30, 2025.
