Staff have returned to Fire Hall #1 following a precautionary temporary relocation.
The relocation occurred after asbestos-containing materials were identified while assessing water damage related to ongoing roof replacement work. The City has been advised that staff can safely return to the building.
Emergency services continued as usual throughout the temporary relocation, with no impacts to fire suppression or 9-1-1 dispatch.
