There is a partial road closure with single lane alternating traffic on Highway 19A, between Tamarac Street and Redwood Street, in effect today, Friday, September 11, 2026, while a water service is being repaired. City crews are on site.
Properties in this area, and on Spruce Street from Highway 19A to 17th Avenue will be without water until the repair is completed.
Traffic controls are in effect and delays may occur. Follow all traffic controls in place.
Some Campbell River residents in the surrounding area may notice discolouration in their water. The water discolouration is temporary and is an aesthetic concern only. If you experience discoloured or cloudy water at home, and are not in the water shutoff area, please run your cold water taps (preferably the bathtub for higher flow) until the water runs clear.
