There will be a partial road closure in effect at 570 Alder Street South from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, while City of Campbell River crews complete a water service renewal. There will also be a water shutoff in effect in this area. Properties in this area will be without water until the work is completed.
Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect. Follow all traffic controls in place. Properties whose water service will be affected have been notified.
Residents in the surrounding neighbourhood may experience temporary water discolouration. This is only an aesthetic issue. If you are not in the shutoff area and notice discoloured or cloudy water, please run your cold-water taps until the water clears.
