    The River City Sidemen are a young jazz fusion trio from Quadra Island and Campbell River. Featuring Jake Elias, Willum Ashurst, and AJ Lontayao. Named the "Discovery Band" at the 2023 Nanaimo International Jazz Fest, they bring bold improvisation and a fresh energy to contemporary jazz performance.
