The City of Campbell River is implementing a temporary 30 km/h speed zone on Hilchey Road between Fern Drive and Penfield Road. This change was requested by Council on June 11, 2026, and will be installed on Monday, June 15.
The reduced speed zone will remain in place until the end of the school year on June 25. It will be removed for the summer and reassessed prior to September.
