The City of Campbell River Fire Department is inviting residents to its annual Open House on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the #1 Fire Station, located at 675 13th Avenue.
This free, family-friendly event offers an opportunity for the community to connect with City staff including local firefighters and dispatchers, while learning more about fire safety, the FireSmart program and wildfire preparedness and the many services provided by the department.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and demonstrations, including opportunities to explore fire equipment and meet the team behind emergency response in Campbell River. A hot dog barbecue will also be available by donation.
Residents are encouraged to bring their families and take part in this interactive and informative event.
