About this Project
The Simms Road Watermain Replacement project involves the full replacement of the existing end-of-life watermain system along Simms Road, extending from Galerno Road to South Island Highway. The work also includes watermain upgrades along Carlyle Crescent, Lawson Grove and all associated service connections and tie-ins to ensure continued system reliability and performance.
Location and Timing
This project area includes Simms Road from Galerno Road to the South Island Highway, as well as Carlyle Crescent and Lawson Grove. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026, subject to receiving required permits and approvals.
Project Team
The City has partnered with ISL Engineering Services Ltd. to provide engineering services and tender support. A construction contractor has not yet been selected.
