Entrepreneur Immigration (PNP)

The City of Campbell River is a part of the Regional Program for Entrepreneur Immigration through the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC PNP is an economic immigration program. The Entrepreneur Immigration stream offers experienced entrepreneurs a path to immigrate to Canada and settle in B.C. The Regional Program is designed for entrepreneurs who propose to start and manage a new business in regional communities.

Next Steps

Please note that only applications that qualify will be contacted.

After your application has gone through the initial assessment, you will be asked to present your business idea. This presentation takes place with the community's designated contact person and happened virtually.

If your idea fits within the City's key sectors, you may be offered a letter of invitation. This letter will be for an exploratory visit to Campbell River. The visit allows you to visit the community, in order to refine your plan and see if Campbell River is a fit for you.

If, following your visit, all parties believe the business is a good fit for our community, then the contact person will prepare a referral form. This form is part of the applicant's BC PNP registration with the province.
