
Pools
There are two pools and a splash park within the City of Campbell River. The City runs the Centennial Outdoor Pool and the Splash Park. The indoor pool, at the Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex, is a part of the Strathcona Regional District.
Centennial Outdoor Pool
Location: Centennial Park, 4th Ave. and Alder St.

The Centennial Outdoor Pool is open in the summer from early June to the end of August. The facility features:
- a 25m heated pool, with a dive tank and water slide
- a heated wading pool
- accessible change rooms
- token lockers
- outdoor showers
Swimming lessons are offered when the pool is open.
Private, semi-private and open swimming lessons are offered when the pool is open.

Pool Rules
- Children under seven years must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person 16 years or older.
- Swimmers must shower before swimming.
- Children must wear a swim diaper if they are not toilet trained. Those two years of age and under are strongly encouraged to wear a swim diaper at all times.
- Please stay home if you are showing signs or symptoms of illness.

The pool is available for private rentals, when open. Please fill out the Centennial Pool Use Application and email it to indoorbooking@campbellriver.ca, or call 250-286-1161 to book your rental.

Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex (Indoor Pool) is a function of the Strathcona Regional District. The Strathcona Gardens Commission oversees the operation of Strathcona Gardens and consists of representatives from the City of Campbell River and Strathcona Regional District Electoral Area D.
