The nomination period for the City of Campbell River's 2026 Local Government Election closed at 4 p.m. today, September 11, 2026.
Following the close of nominations, the City’s Chief Election Officer, Brooke Raiqiso, has officially declared the candidates for the offices of Mayor and Councillor in accordance with the Local Government Act.

The 2026 Local Government Election will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Campbell River voters will elect one Mayor and six Councillors to serve a four-year term. Advanced voting opportunities are scheduled for October 7 and October 14.
