Program registration opens Monday, August 17, at 10 a.m.

The City of Campbell River’s Fall 2026 Recreation Guide is now available, featuring programs, activities and special events running from September through December at the Community Centre, Sportsplex and locations throughout the city.

Residents can browse the guide now at campbellriver.ca/recreation-guide and register beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 17. Registration is available online, through the City’s Recreation in Campbell River App which can be downloaded via campbellriver.ca/recreation-app, in person at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, or by phone.

This season’s lineup includes a variety of opportunities for all ages and interests, including:

  • Active Living programs, social activities and games including Mexican Train, bridge, crib, Scrabble, mah jong, quilting, carpet bowling, floor curling, and table tennis
  • Fitness classes and drop-in sports
  • Programs for children and youth including basketball, squash, baking, cooking, crafts and other sports and recreation activities. After school programming with a variety of these offerings is also available!  
  • Pottery classes for beginners and experienced participants
  • Seasonal favourites, including Breakfast with Santa, National Child Day celebrations and the Toy and Craft Show (one of the largest on Vancouver Island)

A fitness membership continues to offer access to a wide range of activities, including fitness classes, the weight and cardio rooms, squash, racquetball, pickleball, badminton and drop-in basketball.
