City of Campbell River crews completed repairs on a watermain break on 16th Avenue today, Tuesday, June 16, 2026. A water shutoff was in effect for some properties in the area while the repair was completed, but water service has now been restored.
Some residents in the surrounding area may notice discolouration in their water. The water discolouration is temporary and is an aesthetic concern only. If you experience discoloured or cloudy water at home, please run your cold-water taps (preferably the bathtub for higher flow) until the water runs clear.
