The City of Campbell River is excited to announce the return of CR Live Streets for summer 2026 — a free, all-ages street event series that brings music, art, and energy to downtown on Wednesday evenings.
The 2026 season runs July 8 to August 19, with a special Canada Day kickoff event on July 1, marking an exciting start to another summer of downtown celebrations.
From classic rock, reggae grooves and country twang, to blues, club beats, and a street fest, CR Live Streets invites everyone to dance in the street, connect with neighbours, and enjoy summer evenings in the heart of downtown.
Canada Day Featured Through CR Live Streets Programming
New this year, the City’s CR Live Streets will support part of the community’s Canada Day celebrations, with the Canada Day headline performer, Trooper, presented through CR Live Streets event programming. Trooper’s performance will be presented in partnership with the Canada Day Committee and their full day of incredible celebrations.
“CR Live Streets has become one of the signature ways our community comes together each summer,” said Mayor Kermit Dahl. “It’s free, welcoming, and family‑friendly, and it turns downtown into a place to connect — with great music, local experiences, and one another. Kicking off the season on Canada Day this year, alongside the Canada Day Committee and welcoming Trooper to the stage, is a great way to launch a summer full of activity and celebrate everything that makes downtown Campbell River such a vibrant place to be.”
