Some City of Campbell River residents may notice discolouration in their water today, November 7, 2025. This is due to a spike in water flow caused by a mechanical issue. City crews have repaired the problem, and conditions should return to normal later this afternoon.
The water discolouration is temporary and is an aesthetic concern only. If you experience discoloured or cloudy water at home, please run your cold water taps (preferably the bathtub for higher flow) until the water runs clear.
For updates, please visit the City’s website or social media for updates. If the issue continues beyond this afternoon, contact the City’s Dogwood Operations Centre at 250-286-4033 or email dogwood.centre@campbellriver.ca.
Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
