There is a partial road closure on North Island Highway at Pengelly Road, in effect today, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, while City of Campbell River crews repair a watermain break. There is single northbound access while the repair work is being completed and southbound traffic should not be effected. Follow all traffic controls in place.
Water service has also been interrupted between Pengelly Road and Garfield Road due to the watermain break. Some properties may be without water, and residents could experience cloudy or discoloured water until the system is fully flushed. If your property is affected, run your cold water taps until the water clears.
