About this Project
During winter weather, the sanitary sewer system in the Campbellton catchment area experiences flows that exceed its design capacity. This project will upgrade key infrastructure to improve system performance and reduce the risk of overcapacity during wet weather.
Location and Timing
This project will impact the sanitary Pump Station No. 2: 1749 19th Avenue related infrastructure: Highway 19A, between Tamarac Street and Petersen Road. Construction is anticipated to take place from fall 2026 through spring 2027.
Project Team
The City has partnered with ISL Engineering Services Ltd. to provide engineering, surveying, and project management services. Construction services have been awarded to Hazelwood Construction Services Inc. through public tendering process 26-28.
