About this Project
The City of Campbell River strategically acquired the property at 1021 Island Highway South to support the planned expansion of the Big Rock Boat Ramp, with the goal of improving parking capacity and traffic flow in the area. Phase One of the project includes the demolition of existing structures, removal of hardscape elements, and grading of the site to align with adjacent properties.
Location and Timing
This project is located at 1021 Island Highway South. The project is expected to start at the end of March 2026 and be completed by the end of May 2026.

The City has partnered with Sledge N’ Shovel Demolition and Excavation following a public competition.
