π Join us for this free, family-friendly, fun-packed day at the City Fire Department's annual open house and learn about fire safety.
Explore the Fire Safety House, practice your aim with a fire hose, try out hydraulic power tools, get lifted high in the sky by the tower truck, or just come say βhi" and have a hotdog. π
βThe Campbell River Fire Department does amazing work to keep our community safe," says Fire Chief Dan Verdun. βOur annual open houses are fantastic opportunities to meet our firefighters and dispatchers and to see demonstrations of some of the skills we use when we respond to emergencies. Visitors can even get hands-on and discover what it's like to use some of our tools and equipment. These events are lot of fun for staff and visitors alike, and we look forward to seeing you at the Fire Hall on May 11 for this year's open house!"
