Council to Consider Removing Portion of Land Dedicated for Roadway.
The City has entered into a conditional purchase contract for a portion of Pease Road with Econo U-Store-It Inc. (the “Purchaser”). The Purchaser will consolidate the closed portion of road with their property located at 1231 Spruce Street.
This would remove the highway dedication for this portion of road (dedicated by Plan 15486, District Lots 1393 and 66, Sayward District) and will require adoption of Road Closure and Dedication Removal (Portion of Pease Road) Bylaw No. 4000, 2025.
Written comments or requests to present to Council at the May 14, 2026 meeting must be received by May 1, 2026.
