    NEW FALL RECREATION GUIDE AVAILABLE, REGISTRATION OPENS FRIDAY

    The City of Campbell River (the City) has released its Fall 2023 Recreation Guide, covering September to December programming at the Campbell River Community Centre and the Sportsplex, as well as events throughout the city.

    The guide is available online now at campbellriver.ca/recreation-guide, and registration opens at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023. Register online at campbellriver.ca/registration, in person at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, or by calling 250-286-1161 or 250-923-7911.

    City recreation programs, events and classes offer something for everyone. Coming up this fall, we have Freaky Friday, National Child Day, Breakfast with Santa, the Toy & Craft Show and Sale, Children’s Community Preschool, Play Gym, Family Place, Tot Farming at Holly Hill Farm, as well as a wide variety of art, craft and fitness activities.

    Active Living programs include floor curling, bridge, cribbage, drop-in crafts, quilting and painting. Specialized Recreation programs and events include the Fall Spooktacular Dance, Sewing for Fun and Singing for Fun. Parents, register your children in Jr. Chefs, Open Gym, Smoothies, Christmas Cookies, Kitchen Crafts, Slime Time, Leaders in Training and Home Alone (a course to prepare your child to be confident and safe when they’re home alone).
