Parking Changes at the Community Centre Take Effect January 2, 2026
The City is making changes to parking at the Campbell River Community Centre to ensure that parking spaces remain available and accessible for all clients.
Here’s what’s changing, effective January 2, 2026:
- The Community Centre’s parking lot will be reserved for folks who are using the Community Centre.
- There will be a four-hour time limit for parking in place Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- If a client needs to park for more than four hours in order to attend a program at the Community Centre that is longer than three hours, they may request an extended-parking pass at the front desk. The pass must be placed on the front dash where it is visible to traffic control personnel.
- Vendors and renters whose events will last longer than one day may also request extended-parking passes.
New signage will be in place with details of the changes, and these policies will be enforced.
