New traffic lights should be up and running on Dec. 5 at the Petersen Rd. and 14th Ave intersection.

To alert drivers to the new traffic control system, for the first 10 days of service, the lights will flash yellow (meaning proceed with caution) on 14th and red (meaning stop and proceed when safe) on Petersen.

The traffic lights are scheduled to be set to standard operation on Dec. 15.
