The City of Campbell River’s next one-hour lunch ’n’ learn session for local builders and developers will focus on new amendments to the BC Building Code. The forum will take place from noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10 in meeting room #1 at the Campbell River Community Centre.
These changes include new energy efficiency requirements that come into effect on Dec. 19, 2014.
“Find out how these changes in part 9 of the BC Building Code will improve the overall livability of houses while lowering energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions,” says Brad Callander, the City’s building inspector.
Coffee and tea will be provided, and local industry professionals interested in attending this event are reminded to bring their own brown bag lunch. This event is free of charge.
