The project is for the design and construction of a sidewalk and pedestrian crossings improvements along Cheviot Rd.
The project is located along Cheviot Rd., from Petersen Rd. to Westmore Rd.
Construction is expected to commence during the summer 2024.
A cost estimate will be available at the end of the design stage. This project is being funded by Capital Reserves.
The City is working with engineering consultants, MPE Engineering Ltd. on the design phase. The City will engage in a tender process if necessary for the construction of this project.
Traffic management during construction will be the responsibility of the contractor doing the work.
