North Island College Indigenous Speaker Series: Dr. Laura Cranmer

North Island College will host an Indigenous speaking event with Dr. Laura Cranmer, who is a Vancouver Island University Honorary Research Associate of ʼNa̱ mǥis and Haida descent. Dr. Cranmer will share how writing and collaborative creativity can and has been a call to action that uplifts First Nations individuals, sharing their expert knowledge, while unearthing historical silences, bridging cultures through deep relationship-making, and creating space for healing and action for all peoples.
