Campbell River Airport (YBL) - Five-Year Strategic Plan Open House

The Campbell River Airport (YBL) is developing a five-year strategic plan and is seeking input from community members. Two engagement sessions will be held to enable as many residents as possible to participate.

Session 1:

When: Monday, September 23, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where:
Campbell River Airport Terminal Building (1-2000 Jubilee Parkway)

Session 2:

When: Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Campbell River Community Centre (401-11th Avenue)

Light refreshments will be provided at both sessions.

The community engagement sessions will be hosted by the City and IPSOS Inc. in collaboration with Pat Maloney Consulting. Participants will be guided through themed discussions to collect community input, including:

  • How the airport can better serve residents, businesses, and visitors
  • How the airport and the land around it can contribute to Campbell River’s economy

Feedback collected at the engagement sessions will be presented, along with recommended edits to the draft strategic plan, for Council’s consideration in November 2024.
