Important notice for residents who have curbside waste collection on Wednesdays

Both Wednesday and Thursday garbage and recycling pick-up will occur on Thursdays – Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

From Dec. 26 to Jan. 7 one extra container – without a tag – will be permitted per household (weight restriction apply).

Items NOT accepted for recycling at curbside include: plastic gift wrap, Styrofoam packaging, lights, toys and batteries.

Please drop off recyclable items not collected curbside at the Island Return It Centre on Willow Street or at the Campbell River Waste Management Centre on Argonaut Road.
