The Museum at Campbell invites tenders for the annual seasonal maintenance of lawn and landscape for the Museum grounds.

Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, all supervision, equipment, labour as well as applicable business expenses.

Site Meeting (not mandatory): A recommended site visit will be conducted on February 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at the address below. Meet by the front door along breezeway, use buzzer for entry.

Scope of Services Required

Seasonal Lawn/Landscape Maintenance for Museum Grounds

1) Lawn maintenance
Mowing:
* mowing, cut to a height of 2", approximately once per week, dependent on growing conditions.
* all grass clippings are to be removed or a mulching mower used

Fertilizing:
* all grass areas are to be fertilized 1 - 2 times per year, with a general all- purpose fertilizer*
* all grass areas are to be limed once per year in the spring
* all grass areas are to be de-mossed this spring and thereafter as required
* Fertilizer to be supplied by Museum

Irrigation System:
* schedule irrigation system start-up in the spring and shut down in the Fall
* work with irrigation company to ensure that the system is in working order including timing and 100% coverage

2) Landscaping

Edging:
* all walks, pathways and landscaped beds are to be edged regularly as required to maintain a neat and tidy appearance

Weeding:
* all landscaped areas are to be kept reasonably weed free

Tree and shrub bed maintenance:
* all planted trees and shrubs are to be pruned as required

Fertilizing:
* all landscaped areas are to be fertilized 1 - 2 times per year, with a general all- purpose fertilizer*
* Fertilizer to be supplied by Museum

Weed eating:
* rough areas such as the north edge, are to be trimmed with each mowing

Brush cutting:
* at least once per year, on area west of the parking lot or other encroaching areas as required.

Spring and fall cleanup:
* twigs, branches, leaves etc. including removal and dumpage fees
Parking Lots:
* routine debris removal and leaf blowing in all three parking lots as needed
