Work under this project involves the relocation of the City's water supply as a result of BC Hydro's John Hart Redevelopment Project.

The City and BC Hydro have collaboratively developed a project plan that will see a water transmission line down Highway 28 to connect to the existing watermain off Powerhouse Rd., and relocation of the City’s ultra violet and sodium hypochlorite treatment facilities to the new pump station building that will be constructed at John Hart Lake.
