Active Communities - Parks, Recreation & Culture Department
Help our city to be 20% more active by 2010. There are four components to this initiative:  Physical activity, Healthy eating, Tobacco reduction, and Healthy choices during pregnancy.  Activities and events are arranged throughout the year to promote this initiative.
Day Care & Child Care
Campbell River has a wide selection of Day Care and Child Care facilities and programs.  They include 3 facilities for under 36 months, 8 for 30 months to school age children, 10 preschool, 18 family child care centre, 10 out-of-school care, and 2 childminding.
