Garbage Collection is weekly on the same day including statutory holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day when it will be collected the next day.

Recycling Collection

Bi-Weekly Curbside Recycling pickup is the same day as your garbage pickup but the service is every other week. See the map on the brochure for your pickup day or call Emterra (formerly IPI) at 250-286-0211

Rainbarrel Program
Recycle WATER, one of our most valuable resources, by using Rain Barrels (available at most local hardware and garden supply stores in Campbell River).
Be Bear Aware

Yard Waste Collection

The City is providing weekly yard waste collection  for 8 weeks in the Spring and Fall to be collected on your regular garbage pickup day.
