The Fire Department would like to remind all Campbell River residents that the City of Campbell River has restricted the sale, and discharge, of consumer fireworks by adopting Fireworks Regulation Bylaw 3297.

Residents of Campbell River have the opportunity to discharge consumer fireworks as long as they are in possession of a valid permit issued by the Fire Department.

To obtain a permit residents must participate, at least once, in a fireworks safety training session as offered by the Fire Department. Please contact the Fire and Loss Prevention Branch (250-286-6266) for information on upcoming training sessions.
