To minimize loss of life and property for the City of Campbell River from fires, natural disasters, life threatening situations and to assist other emergency agencies.

It is the objective of the Fire Department to deliver the highest standard of fire protection services within its mandated protection area, according to the policies and directions given by the Council of the City of Campbell River.

To perform these services in an efficient manner by maintaining effective fire prevention, emergency response, fire suppression and training.

It shall be a Departmental objective to deliver fire service according to commonly prescribed standards of procedure and in a professional and efficient manner.
